Made in 1925. Specialty Grade L.C. Smith manufactured by Hunter Arms Co. Fulton, New York. This gun has six special order features. Gun has fluid steel barrels with raised ventilated rib with twin ivory beads and ejectors. Regular weight case hardened frame with Specialty grade style bird and floral engraving and gold plated single selective Hunter "One Trigger". Gun has no safety meaning it was probably ordered as a live pigeon or trap gun. Walnut checkered English style straight grip stock with black solid rubber recoil pad. Checkered beavertail forend with roller latch release. CONDITION: Barrels retain 90% of an old reblue with bright and shiny bores. Action retains 50% case with most in the protected areas. Wood retains 50% original finish with checkering worn to near flat condition. Forearm has small 1" crack and one small crack behind the left and right locks and there are also some small chips behind the locks. Screws have been turned. Recoil pad is a replacement. Trigger guard is worn to a silvery patina. Gun is mechanically sound and functions fine.
