Manufactured in occupied Czechoslovakia in 1944. Blued finish with ramped blade front sight and tangent rear. Unmarked blonde white glue laminate stock with late-War fabricated Kriegsmodell nose cap without bayonet lug, fabricated sling band, fabricated trigger guard, milled floor plate, and cupped butt plate. Matching full or partial numbers are observed on the receiver, rear sight and base, bolt handle, bolt shroud, and cocking piece. No visible import marks. Rifle is accompanied by an Erzatz web gas mask strap sling with "ebd / 43" code molded into the rubber endpiece. A additional nice cross hatch pattern leather sling with "L&F" marked buckle and waffenampt inspected "gmk" endpiece is also included. Backbone of the Wehrmacht by Richard Law records this serial number, "141" as the lost recorded dou. 45 code rifle on page 254. CONDITION: Excellent. Rifle appears as restored to near new condition. Nearly all of the blued finish is retained with some minor spotting. Stock is clean and bright with minor staining and handling marks. Excellent bore.
