Lot consists of: (A) Marlin Model 1936 lever action rifle. Early production rifle with no letter prefix. Marked "MARLIN SAFETY" on top of the frame. Factory blued finish with a case hardened frame. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Case hardened frame has some wear. Wood is very good with minor handling marks. Bore retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Winchester Model 1897 slide action shotgun. Manufactured in 1941. Metal looks to have been refinished at some point. Full choke bore. serial numbers on the receiver and barrel assembly match. Accepts standard 2 - 3/4" shells. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Stock looks to have some dings and scratches. Bore is clean. Mechanically fine. JA
