This Mauser was manufactured at the Ludwig Loewe factory between 1897 and 1900. Rifle has a near perfect Chilean acceptance mark on left side of stock. Left side of frame has manufacturers stamp. Serial number can be found stamped on frame, left side of stock, bolt, and floorplate, all of which match. CONDITION: The blued frame, barrel, bands and floorplate, trigger guard, and buttplate retain 99.5% of their high polish original factory blue. Even the follower retains virtually all of its nitre blue finish. Rear sight is graduated out to 2000 meters in bright polished steel with fire blue adjustment knob. Wood is like new. Rifle is virtually new inside and out, unfired, and unimprovable. Comes with a new Uncle Mike leather military style sling.
