This rifle features a Winchester marked walnut stock, rear sight, bolt, 10-18 dated barrel and no visible parts from other makers The receiver has double eagle head and flaming bomb stamps. The bolt also has bomb. Finish is original WWI blue. Comes with brass double frog sling and a Winchester US 1917 marked bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent. Wood is excellent with only minor impressions. Metal retains 85-90% blue with scattered handling and high edge loss. Bore is bright. It is very hard to find an all original, clean WW1 Winchester that was not rebuilt for the second war.
