This Philadelphia gun dates to 1922 and exhibits all matching numbers . It is an A grade and so stamped on water table. The A grade box lock frame features a finely engraved nearly full coverage scroll with maker name in ribbons on both sides. The blued barrels features a solid matted rib, single bead front sight, manual extractors, dual triggers, walnut stock with checkered pistol grip, black grip cap and butt plate along with the checkered splinter forearm. CONDITION: Fine. The actions colors have taken on an almost nickel bright finish. Barrels retain about 85% drifting blue, softening near the fences along with some minor age freckling and handling. Stock is fine and solid, the checkering having softened just a touch and exhibits minor impressions. Mechanically sound with bright bores. Very sharp early Philadelphia double.
