This gun was retailed by Kuntze of Leipzig and engraved on tops of barrels. There are bands of foliate engraving at breech ends surmounted by “Krupp – Stahl”. Barrel flats are stamped with German imperial proofs for 16 gauge with rifle stamped 9mm and Bohler Special steel stamped shotgun barrels. Features a scalloped box lock action with rifle/ shotgun selector on top tang, Greener side safety, pin type cocking indicators, cross bolt third fastener, side clips, bushed strikers, reinforcing bolsters to action, intercepting sears, and double triggers. Action has almost complete coverage deep hand chiseled engraving in leaf pattern displaying antlered game scene on left side and fighting wild boars on right side. The blue barrels feature a matted rib, a pop up rear sight, built in claw scope bases. The trigger guard is horn. The oil finished dark fiery European walnut stock features hand checkered round knob, straight comb, roll over cheek piece, checkered horn butt plate, sling swivel and a game scene engraved bullet trap. The matching splinter forearm with Deeley release shows full engraving. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain virtually all of their rust blue finish. Receiver is antiqued coin finished. Wood is excellent, sharp checkering with scattered minor impressions. Action is tight as new and all the bores are sharp. Really stunning top of the line quality drilling.
