(C) REMINGTON HEPBURN NO. 3 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN .30-40.
Rarely seen late No. 3 Hepburn fitted with a round barrel stamped "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILLION NY". Features a Beech folding front sight, a semi-buckhorn rear sight and a Mid Range tang sight. Case color frame with a single patent stamp on left side. Checkered walnut stock with round knob, S curve steel buttplate, and matching checkered forearm with black ebony inset. CONDITION: Excellent. Frame colors have pattered out. Barrel retains nearly all the soft blue finish with minimal handling marks. Stocks are excellent with sharp checkering and nominal impressions. Mechanically sound with a bright bore. Very hard to find variation with round barrel and this chambering.
