Standard mid war issue. The barrel is dated 3-44 with RA and Ordnance bomb stamp which matches the era of receiver. Standard features include the rear bridge mounted A4 rear sight, pressed steel parts, dark matte parkerized finish, straight grip walnut stock with no finger grooves, has the long hand guard with no sight grooves, pinned reinforcements, smooth butt plate with trap, grooved triggers and a canvas sling. Left side of stock has the FJA cartouche for Frank Atwood along with block letter proof P at wrist. CONDITION: Fine. The floor plate and trigger guard display a bright reapplied blue while balance retains generous parkerized finish exhibiting sundry handling marks. Stock is solid revealing scattered dings and impressions and has some unit stamps on right side. . Strong and bright bore with a TE reading of ) and an ME reading of 0 as well.
