Single shot Remington Model 40X chambered for .22 Long Rifle with heavy 27-1/2" barrel with Remington proofs on sides. Drilled and tapped at muzzle for globe front sight and mid barrel for Unertl type scope base and traditional Remington receiver pattern holes. Target stock is equipped with handstop sling swivel and adjustable Freeland pattern butt plate. The Remington 40X has been long known to be one of the most accurate rimfire rifles ever produced. CONDITION: Very good with excellent bore, being bright and shiny, with a sharp throat. Stock has typical range rash with dents and bruises. Barrel and receiver are very good with slight finish loss at muzzle and high points. Action operates properly and has no issues. TDW
