(C) ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL US MODEL 1903 WWII ARSENAL REBUILD BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

The Rock Island Arsenal stamped receiver dates to post WWI circa 1919. The barrel is dated 10-42 with the Springfield SA and Ordnance bomb legend. Metal finish is matte blue with parkerized rear barrel sleeve and WWII 2700 yard sight. The straight grip walnut stock has war era two pin reinforcements, no finger grooves, pre-war style sight grooved hand guard, swept bolt, smooth trigger, smooth steel butt plate with trap and displays a web sling. Stock does not exhibit any arsenal rebuild or cartouche stamps. CONDITION: Excellent retaining the majority of its arsenal reapplied finish. Stock only exhibits minor impressions. The strong bore has a TE reading of 1 and an ME reading of 0. Very handsome rebuild with a brilliant bore.
