Manufactured in 1938. Reapplied dipped blue finish. Ramped barkeycorn front sight and tangent rear. Walnut stock marked on the right with a crisp restruck Heer eagle "H". Mounts include an "H" front band, milled sling band, milled bottom metal, and a flat butt plate. Externally visible numbers are matching, some as nicely arsenal renumbered. No visible import marking. Includes a period cross hatch pattern leather sling with Carl Kunte maker roundel and 1938 date. CONDITION: Good. Nearly all of the dull reapplied blue is retained with an overall plum appearance. Wood has been lightly cleaned. Poor, dark abraded bore.
