(C) SCARCE DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION SADDLE RING CARBINE
Scarce Deluxe Winchester 1984 Saddle Ring Carbine with checkered pistol grip stocks and Winchester pistol grip cap. Round barrel with Redfield blade front sight, adjustable ladder carbine rear sight. 2 line Winchester barrel address with chamber marked "32 W.S.". Blue finished metal with case colored hammer and lever. Varnished checkered walnut stocks with pistol grip and smooth steel carbine buttplate. Deluxe finished Winchester carbines are extremely scarce and rarely encountered. A totally different pattern of lower tang had to be utilized and increase the cost drastically. Manufactured in 1907 per Winchester serial number records. CONDITION: Very good with over 60% blue finish on barrel and magazine with receiver retaining 25% blue finish with balance toned to silver from carry and wear. The stocks are very good with period of use impressions and moderate honest wear to checkering. All markings are crisp and legible. Bore is very fine with sharp lands and grooves. Action operates properly and is mechanically fine. A very scarce 1894 Saddle ring carbine variant.
