October of 1943 Production U.S. Springfield M1 Garand rifle with original buttstock cleaning kit and period correct sling. Rifle retains its November of 1943 barrel, meaning this rifle was most likely never arsenal rebuilt. Correct World War 2 "lock bar" rear sight, early gas plug and early trigger guard. All other parts including the stock indicate Springfield production. Stock also retains its original U.S. acceptance stamp on its pistol grip and a rack number "27" on the right side. CONDITION: Rifle is in overall very good condition. Metal retains 90% of its original finish. Stock is very good with minor handling dings and scratches. Bore retains a fair amount of rifling. Muzzle measures a 1, throat measures 1. Sling is in very good condition, as is the buttstock cleaning kit. Overall a great example of a World War 2 Springfield Garand. JA
