Manufactured in Austria by Steyr. This rifle saw service in England and is proofed on barrel, receiver, and bolt, along with the boxed "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" stamp". Rifle is finished in rust blue with a tapered round barrel. Ramped blade front sight and 2-leaf rear, an additional folding aperture sight is hidden in the tang. Half length checkered pistol grip stock with composition grip cap and butt plate. CONDITION: Very Good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its blue with some expected edgewear and thinning. Stocks show field marks but are overall very good. Bore is well defined, some firing residue present in the grooves. Smooth mechanics.
