Dates to 1936. This beautifully upgraded pre-war features the Winchester pattern scroll and wood scene with two gold pointers and a pheasant on the left side of receiver and three ducks on the right side. The walnut stock has also been upgraded using a highly figured oil finish walnut with fleur-de-lis style checkering, pistol grip, a Winchester cap and butt plate with matching forearm. The work is attributed to Nick Kusmit. Also features the matted solid rib, a red bead front sight, small, rare sight bead and a dual tone blue finish. CONDITION: Excellent as restored retaining the majority of its fine finish showing nominal handling. Mechanically sound with a bright bore. Comes in a contemporary box.
