Barrels are marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL" on matted game rib, set with two ivory beads. Barrel flats and lumps are stamped with all correct markings. Robust No. 3 frame action has all correct patent and grade markings on water table, and features automatic safety and nickel plated double triggers. Action is engraved in the "D" style with near full coverage scroll within scroll borders surrounding single dogs on sides. "PARKER BROS" is behind dog scenes. Trigger plate has vignette of four flying birds. Nice marbled European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14" over skeleton buttplate. Stock is finished in "D" fashion with drop points and point pattern checkering at grip, and later checkered side panels. Matching splinter ejector forend has typical release and patent date on iron. Gun matches "Parker Gun Serialization and Identification Ledger". Excellent, as restored. Barrels retains nearly all of a well-done rust blue. Action re-colored and taken back to about 90%. Stocks refinished over some light marks, checkering re-cut. Bores are very good to excellent with a couple of very light pings. Action is tight. Barrels are on face. Ejectors are strong and in time. A very rare Parker; "The Parker Story" lists only eight examples with 36" barrels. CORRECTION: Small repair to the toe of stock about the size of a pinkie fingernail.
