Manufactured around 1920 in Winder Musket configuration. Heavy 28" blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel chambered in .22 short. Blade front sight and adjustable peep rear. Blued low wall receiver with a case hardened breech block marked on tang with "WINCHESTER" trademark. Plain oil finished walnut straight grip stock with carbine style crescent trap butt plate. Full length military style finger groove forend with sling swivels and a blued steel nose cap. CONDITION: Very good overall retaining the vast majority of its factory applied finishes. Some spots of toning, light wear and scratching present. Stocks are very fine showing only a few scattered marks. Fine bright bore with well defined rifling. Crisp mechanics. BAS
