(C) WW2 MAUSER 41/42 CODE BLACK WIDOW LUGER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL
Manufactured by Mauser using the German military code "42" and marked "42" on the toggle. Chamber marked "41" for manufacturing date of 1941. Blue finished with Eagle 655 German inspection. All matching serial numbers with correct and proper "fxo37" marked blue finished magazine with black plastic base. This variation has been nick named the "Black Widow" by collectors denoting the all blue finish with lack of straw finishes that were used on previous manufacture. The 41/42 has always had special collector interest. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall with over 97% finish with brilliant bore. Checkered plastic black grips are exceptionally fine with no distress. The "fxo37" inspected magazine with black plastic base is excellent with no distress or material loss at base. Mechanically excellent.
