Black on black sights with square notch Elliason adjustable rear sight, with serrated sighting rib. Slide has appropriate rollmarks for the Commander edition, which was out of the custom shop. Narrow serrated hammer with serrated small parts including Gold cup skeletonized trigger. Knurled flat mainspring housing, serrated front strap. Smooth walnut grips with silver Gold medallion grips. In the appropriate Colt maroon box with appropriate accessories including bushing wrench, extra magazine, and paperwork. Colt Gold Cup commanders are rare and it is believed that approximately 1000 were issued in blue and stainless. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory finish with appropriate welling around the rollmarks. Some minor scratches to stainless from handling and storage. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with crisp rifling and some frosting around lands. Box is very good with expected age related distress and peeling with but complete.
