Manufactured 1971. Classic 6" vent rib full lug barrel, serrated ramp front sight with dual pins, square notch adjustable rear sight. Left side of barrel marked "PYTHON 357 / (star) 357 MAGNUM CTG. (star)", right side marked "COLT'S PT. F.A MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.". Frame with Colt VP proof and Colt rampant Colt. Small "6" proof partially visible under grips. Serrated trigger and backstraps. Checkered walnut grips with gold medallions. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the Colt bluing with some light thinning to muzzle and 2 small areas of pitting on left side of muzzle and lug (each spot approximately 4mm x 5mm). Some minor silvering to front sight. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with crisp rifling. A nice example of a classic revolver. EMW
