This consignor got the best two serial numbers on the offered two Turnbull rifles. This example is in near new condition inside and out and features Serial No. 1892. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown, sporting sights, tang sight, case colored frame, takedown ring, forend cap, hammer and lever; and beautiful triple X hand checkered pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester cap and solid red recoil pad. Rifle does not appear to have ever been shot. Brilliant case colors, blued finish and blued screws. A superb, custom, museum quality custom made short rifle.
