This handsome safari rifle was built by Empire Rifles of Meriden, New Hampshire in 2007. It has durable all-weather matte finishes. The free floated stainless match grade barrel is fitted with a perforated muzzle break, hooded blade front sight on a ramped base, and adjustable Safari style rear sight. Rifle is also mounted with a quality Zeiss Daivari Classic 1.5-6x42mm scope on factory fitted quick detach rings. Magnum 98 Mauser style controlled feed action with extended bolt handle. Action is glass bedded with aluminum cross bolts. XXX grade slab sawn satin finished walnut stock with ebony tip, multipoint checkering, push button release hinged bottom metal, checkered grip with skeleton cap, shadow line European cheek piece, "BC" engraved gold toe line escutcheon, and a Decelerator recoil pad. An Empire Rifles field sling is mounted via barrel sling eye and inletted rear swivel. Gun is accompanied by factory paperwork including original build sheet. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all of the factory original finishes are retained with minor handling marks. Stock is likewise fine. Well defined bore. Fine mechanics. Clear optics.
