Beautiful high grade Remington made with raised matted ventilated top rib with steel mid and white front bead. Beautifully checkered forend in fleur-de-lis pattern with fancy diamond at center. Receiver is beautifully engraved in near full coverage scroll and game scene engraving with pointer and setter on left with grouse and pheasant surrounded by well executed scroll. Dogs head bust on trigger guard bow. Right side of action with pointer and setter in game scene and duck and grouse all surrounded by well executed scroll engraving. The buttstock is of flame grained American Walnut and has full knob pistol grip and is checkered in fleur-de-lis pattern, has small Monte Carlo, and terminates with a Pachmayr brand white lined pad. Gold oval near toe. CONDITION: Extremely fine as likely test fired only and retains nearly all original finish to both wood and metal surfaces with only very minute handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is brilliant and shiny.
