Built 2006. This 12 gauge game gun with shiny hopper lump 29" - 2- 3/4" chambered barrels a tapered smooth concave game rib with round front brass bead sight. Rib and barrels with light scroll near breech. Top of right-hand barrel reads "GRIFFIN & HOWE". Bottom of left barrel reads "MADE IN SPAIN". Both barrels stamped with "****" for chokes of Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder and 18,6 on bottoms. Barrel flats "12-70" and with serial number "57-03-268-06". The true seven-pin sidelock case colored action is built with disk set strikers, gas escapes, auto-safe with "SAFE" in gold, and single mechanical trigger. The action and its hardware are nicely engraved with deep-cut foliate scroll. Action bottom with gold inlay "GRIFFIN & HOWE" and with their well-known Ram's head logo beneath. The blued single trigger is protected by a fully engraved blued right hand rolled edged trigger guard which extends to the gun's long bottom strap. Bottom strap with matching foliate engraving and the gun's serial number. The European walnut stock is built with an English straight hand grip, drop points, and is nicely checkered. The buttstock is has matched checkering. The splinter forend has blued engraved iron metal, escutcheon, and a checkered Anson-styled push-button release. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels as new. Action, ejectors, trigger all as new. Stock and forend very good. Great game gun! CP
