H-S Precision developed these rifles for situations that required more discretion and compact maneuverability, and took advantage of that system to also introduce a quick change caliber system utilizing an interrupted thread design and a Deely style latch that that articulates a stud that anchors into the receiver. Threaded heavy profile fluted barrel engraved "308 Win" on left side of barrel shank , with matching serial number and caliber at threads. Built on an H-S Precision Pro-Series 2000 short action with matching serial number on left side of receiver. Scope blocks on fore and rear rings. Mounted in an HS Precision tactical stock with adjustable cheekpiece and buttstock. Accompanied by a spare barrel assembly in .22-250 marked in the same manner as the .308 and with an extra magazine marked "22-250" on the side. CONDITION: Very good with the majority of the factory finishes throughout, including scattered handling marks and rubs from range use, some silvering. Some galling to .308 barrel at muzzle, behind threads, which does not affect threads. Mechanically fine with both sets of barrels connecting appropriately, bores very good with strong rifling and some mild frosting.
