Designed for use in the Olympic 50 meter pistol event, TOZ-35M "free pistols" are capable of world class accuracy and are still strong competitive handguns at the highest levels of the sport. Factory specifications required spreads of no further than .8" at 50 meters with Temp ammo and .68" with Olympic grade ammo. This example is particularly desirable as it still features its uncut wooden grips, correctly serial numbered to gun, that allow the owner to customize the grips to their hands exactly. Other features include an 11-3/4" barrel, adjustable rear sight, fixed front sight which is capable of being replaced, and Martini style action. Gun is import marked under the barrel for Century International Arms. CONDITION: Gun is in very fine condition. Finished forend has a few pressure and handling marks but no splits and is intact. Rear wood block has some chips and roughness as to be expected from a raw piece of wood. Bore is good with well defined lands and grooves. Action is fine and operates correctly. This gun is housed in a carrying case with a multitude of accessories including screwdriver, cleaning rod, assorted rod brushes, punches, oil bottle, and assorted small parts for the gun including replacement sights, springs, and other pieces. Also included is a partially formed piece of wood which may have been intended to be a wedge palm rest. This is an high quality target pistol waiting to be customized and used.
