(M) SCARCE SIG AMT AMERICAN MATCH TARGET SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.
Manufactured in Switzerland as a semi-automatic SIG 510 for the American market, approximately 3000 were imported prior to 1989. This example was imported by SPS of Aurburn, Washington. The matte finished barrel is mounted with a launcher muzzle device, perforated heat shield, and protected post front sight. Aperture rear sight graduated to 600 meters. Matte finished stamped construction receiver. Furniture includes walnut forend with walnut hand guard, folding carry handle, ribbed polymer pistol grip, and walnut stock with ribbed aluminum butt plate. Accompanied by a woven sling and manual. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the original finishes are retained with light handling marks. Flash hider has some light wear. Stocks are fine with a few minor impressions. Mirror bore. Fine mechanics. A very nice example of a hard to find Swiss rifle.
