Sharps Manufacturing Co. Sharps single shot rifle. Contemporary made. "Old Reliable" marked on the barrel in script. "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO." marked in front of the rear sight. "CALIBRE 45" / "2 4/10" (.45-90). Company address marked on the right side of the frame. Octagon barrel with globe aperture front sight. Rear ladder sight and tang mounted aperture are present as well. Frame is case colored with the barrel being blued. Gloss finished wood stock and forearm. Left hand shooter cheekpiece. Fine checkering on the wrist. Plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear. Stock is excellent. Bore has some light frosting, but rifling is strong. Mechanically fine with both set triggers working correctly. JWA
