Manufactured as a semi-automatic only 1917 Browning water cooled gun by DLO of Stamford, Connecticut with a mixture of new made and original parts. Jacketed barrel with hooded blade front sight and 2600 yard graduated rear ladder sight. Parkerized receiver marked on the right side plate with DLO information. Rear mounted trigger with 2-piece walnut pistol grip. Gun is mounted to a 1941 dated Rock Island Arsenal 1917A tripod with adjustable cradle. Gun is accompanied by a water can, hose, ammo box with belted dummy ammunition for display, 1945 dated canvas gun cover, 1943 dated Model 1918 belt loading machine with restored case. A rare restored wooden horse drawn ammo cart is also included with 14 wooden ammo boxes, tools, and vehicle hitch bar. CONDITION: Excellent. Gun retains nearly all of its finishes with some minor high edge silvering and handling marks. Well defined, frosted bore. Fine mechanics. Accessories rate good to excellent. Ammo cart has been completely restored with some replaced components. A very attractive and remarkably complete 1917 outfit that displays exceedingly well.
