Mauser Broomhandle Schnellfeuer machine pistol with unmarked reproduction shoulder stock. Mauser banner logo on left receiver panel just to the rear of the selector switch. Right receiver panel has standard markings ”WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.” with typical crown over "U" and Mauser marking over chamber. One Mauser marked 20 round magazine included. There are very few of this model machine gun in the National Firearms Act registry. This fast-firing pistol has a cyclic rate of 800-1100 rounds per minute when fired in fully automatic mode and is tremendous fun to shoot at the range. These pistols were manufactured and marketed worldwide, primarily for police and government use. Think of how intimidating this would be to an unruly crowd of Anarchists. Police were trained to turn them on their sides when contemplating crowd control, as this harnessed the "muzzle climb" to advantage. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is good to very good. Original finish faded and thinned to about 70% smooth blue finish, with significant thinning to bare metal at high edges, and some slight scratches to the barrel. Grips are fine with some handling marks. Stock fit onto pistol is snug and positive just exactly as is best. Bore has strong rifling with darkness in the grooves. This shows some gray patina at points and at the high edges. Mechanics are fine. This is a select fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE AS A PRE-86 DEALER SAMPLE ONLY TO ACTIVE CURRENT FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 ONLY.
