Extremely attractive Heckler & Koch registered receiver G3 machine gun with proof mark “IB” indicating 1981 manufacture on left side of magazine well. Typical “Made in Germany” with "ARLINGTON VA" on right side of magazine well. Includes one original “G3” marked 20 round magazine with 3/63 manufacturer’s date, and web sling. Three position selector for the American market, “0, 1, A”. Includes folding bipod. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent factory original gray black finish with some slight loss of finish at the high edges around the ejection port and the occasional spot on the receiver. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. A very clean and attractive state of the art modern rifle caliber machine gun.
