Very high quality Finnish manufactured Valmet Model 76 which is essentially a finer made and fitted version of the AK-47 platform. Manufactured from 1976 to 1986, we are fortunate to have some of these select fire machine guns in the National Firearms Act (NFA) registry. Firing at a rate of about 700-750 rounds per minute these guns were made in both 7.62x39mm and in 5.56mm. This specimen is a fixed wooden stock version and includes one 40 round magazine and one 20 round magazine. Marked with typical factory markings on left side of receiver with "VALMET INC." U.S. markings on underside of receiver this Valmet is extremely clean. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine original smooth grey and matte blue finish with some brassing to grey patina at a couple of high points such as front and rear sight protectors and at muzzle, and also at the heads of a couple of the receiver rivets. None of this detracts at all from what a handsome gun this is. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Wood and composite furnishings near excellent with some slight handling marks. This is a select fire machine gun. An extremely well made machine gun which is also a very fun recreational shooter. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
