Absolutely fantastic condition Yugoslavian version of the Russian AK-74U in 7.62x39mm as built on a fully transferable registered receiver by Tim LaFrance using a new original Yugo M92 parts kit. Selector is marked “U”, “R”, “J”. The parent model (AK-74U) was a refinement of the original AK-47 and AKM designs, and was fielded by the Soviet Russians in the mid-1970’s and copied and produced with permission in their satellite countries. This compact version was intended for use by troops for which space would be at a premium, and yet they still desired an effective weapon. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near mint. Metal and wood is near excellent as remanufactured. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun. A beautiful example in top condition for the modern Soviet era machine gun enthusiast. PROVENANCE: From the personal collection of noted NFA author and enthusiast Frank Iannamico. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2020-05-065
