This is a two-transfer stamp item as the suppressor is one NFA item, and the S&H Arms 10/22 sear pack would incur a 2nd NFA transfer tax if these were transferred on ATF Form 4s. These auto sear packs were designed by John Norrell, and manufactured/registered by S&H Arms of Oklahoma. Installation of one of these sear packs into a Ruger 10/22 host gun makes the gun into a machine gun. For this specimen offered here, a previous owner went further and fitted a John Norrell Arms registered suppressor to the Ruger host receiver. So there are actually three firearms items here. The host gun receiver (126-93517), then the suppressor (S102785A), and finally the Sear-Pack (442). The 10/22 Ruger with a registered Auto-Sear pack is one of the most popular .22 LR machine guns available. One can easily understand why, as the basic gun design is tried and true, magazines are readily available, and a variety of models and options are available, such as this offering with an integral suppressor and a folding stock. No magazine present, but there are a wide variety readily available. Electronic NFA registry indicates “S AND H ARMS INC OF OKLAHOMA” as the manufacturer of the auto sear, and “JOHN NORRELL ARMS INC” as the manufacturer of the integral suppressed barrel. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original anodized and blued finish with some loss of finish at the high edges. The composite parts are near excellent. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. It is very rare that one of these sear packs surface for public sale. Usually, they are snapped up by “friends” of the owners as soon as they become available. THIS LOT INCLUDES TWO NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
