Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun with a “U” prefix serial number. Two original 36 round magazines are included with this lot. These guns were manufactured between 1967–1974. Features include selective fire, an ambidextrous safety/selector, and the ability to be very compact with a swing-out hard rubber covered shoulder loop. Electronic NFA registry indicates, “SMITH AND WESSON” in the manufacturer’s block. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent matte blue finish with extremely fine furnishings. Some light handling marks to handgrip. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2026-09-89.
