DSP. Maker Marked "Imperial Sign Co." A C. 1900s American Express Co. double-sided porcelain flange sign. CONDITION: Side 1 has fair color and gloss. There are significant areas of surface scratching, as well as minor areas of porcelain loss on the outer edges, at the curve and on the inside of the flange section itself (7.9). Side 2 has good color and gloss, with significant areas of surface scratching and minor fade on the blue background. There is more significant porcelain loss on the outer edges and at the edge where the flange meets the body of the sign (7.5).
