An extremely rare example of this intricately decorated vase. High fired glazes on a porcelain body with applied jeweled portrait, jeweled spider, webbing and gold gilt. Remnants of RSTK mark, impressed "583". 15 - 7/8" high. Illustrated in "Monsters and Maidens: Collectors Edition", Vreeland, pages 84 - 85 and in "The House of Amphora", Scott, page 94. Circa 1900.
