C.C. GALBRAITH & SON BRONZE LYLE LIFE SAVING CANNON.

Galbraith produced approximately 1,400 Lyle line throwing cannons, many around World War II. It features an approximately 32" tube measured from muzzle to cascabel with an approximately 2 - 5/8" muzzle. Touchhole is bushed with a thread in bronze bolt. The elevation adjustable bronze base is cast in relief "C.C. GALBRAITH & SON INC / NEW YORK / U S.A." CONDITION: Fine. Gun exhibits a very attractive mellow patina and displays very well.
