C. 1905-1910. MANUFACTURER: Caille Brothers, Detroit, Michigan. This Caille Brothers double upright combination slot machine features a 5-cent Centaur and a 25-cent Big Six housed within a single cabinet, representing an efficient multi-denomination configuration designed to maximize operator revenue while conserving floor space and licensing requirements. Caille Brothers was one of the premier early 20th-century American slot machine manufacturers, known for robust mechanical construction and ornate castings, and combination uprights such as this example illustrate the company’s ability to pair differing play styles and denominations into a unified presentation for saloons and gaming establishments. The Centaur mechanism offers traditional reel-style play, while the Big Six provides an alternative wheel-based gaming experience, giving patrons a choice of format and wager within one footprint. Provenance: Fresh to the Market. This slot was purchased from the Glen Larson collection over 35 years ago and has been in the Dauer family collection since that time. CONDITION: Restored, plays and pays correctly, with a beautiful Honduran Mahogany cabinet and copper-flashed coatings; replaced back door. From the collections of Drs. Joanne and Edward Dauer.

CORRECTION: This is a 25¢ Centaur and a 5¢ Big six combination.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (Restored).
