Serial No. 5128. Scarce "Long Flute" Model 1860 Army .44 caliber percussion revolver was manufactured in 1861. This is a standard fluted model with the 8" barrel, four screw frame, cut for stock, New York barrel address, brass trigger guard, and steel frame. Has all matching numbers including wedge. Cylinder displays no serial number but has the patented stamp. Gun is in good overall original condition. Dark brown patina over all metal with some pitting. Cylinder is loose. Wedge is missing spring. Grips are refinished and slightly shy. Action works. Rough bore. Decent example of a rare 1860 Army.
