Overall length: 55". Barrel length: 40". This contemporary made Kentucky rifle is signed by "P.W. and M.E. Cravener" and has much eye appeal. It is adorned with 16 silver engraved "fancy" inlays and has a York County style patchbox, which is nicely engraved, as are all of silver inlays. The fine curly maple stock has profuse relief-carving (and incised) in the manner of Adam Ernst (of Paradise Township, York County) who was a highly skilled early 19th century gunsmith. This rifle has been made for left-handed shooters.
