Doctor's canes with compartments are the rarest canes of all. Numerous surgical instruments inside. Hollow rosewood veneer over brass shaft and brass and steel ferrule. Surgical instruments include a thermometer in gold-etched case, an eraser in case, a scalpel in case with release and a container with needle and four tips. C. 1880. 34 - 1/2".
