The round basket with conforming lid, decorated with two circling whales, one in dark indigo and the other in deep red, fitted to the conforming basket depicting a whale hunting scene having two whales chased by a large canoe. Pictured in "Northern Washington Coast Indian and Eskimo Artifacts of North America" by Charles Miller, page 162. Age appropriate wear. Colors are significantly faded on the exterior but bright on the interior.
