FANTASTIC LARGE COCA-COLA DUTCH BOY CHEWING GUM SIGN

Single-Sided Cardboard. This outstanding c. 1914-1916 single-sided die-cut cardboard sign from Coca-Cola features an impressively-sized stick of chewing gum being carried by the Dutch Boy. The arm holding the gum is three-dimensional and articulates. This is the large-sized version of this sign. CONDITION: The field shows a few specks of discoloration seen in the stick of gum. The boy shows general darkening to the color throughout. The bottom-left and right corners of the sign show minor cardboard loss. There is a light crease seen in the boy's neck as well. The outer edges show light soiling all the way around. An incredible piece of advertising history.
