A set of finely braided vintage 12 plait kangaroo romal, reins, and headstall made in contrasting shades of brown bought directly from Rose & Luis Ortega. Very well done multiple buttons. All the pieces are in very good condition and supple throughout.

PROVENANCE: From the current owner "When we purchased this set it was in either 1975 or possible 1974. They were purchased directly from the Ortegas at their sale stall at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. There were three people there. Mr. Ortega, his wife and a granddaughter that was the translator as my family did not speak Spanish. I know there was something special about them as the leather was very soft and “for a ladies hand”. Thank you DW Daniels"
