Rare seen in this condition and still together as a set, these spurs still retain the original leather lining. Finished in the finest traditions of Spanish influenced master Mexican craftsmen of the colonial period in the Republic of Mexico and Alta California. Hand-forged iron, double mounted with inlaid silver bands with stamped dot and diamond designs. Candy-striped silver stripes on the drop shanks with silver engraved arrow-shaped embellishments near the center of the rowel spokes, same on inner side but in chased iron. Straps are original to the spurs and are lined in fine, maroon Moroccan leather. Embellished with plant/vine patterns executed in silver bullion thread. 2-1/4" conchos are jeweler quality, and bear master-level workmanship.

Item Dimensions: 3 - 1/4" long bands, 2 - 1/2" shank, 2 - 3/4" rowels
