Galle vase has a square shape and is inset with Marquetry flowers and leaves on the front and back; against a brown, tan and cream swirling background. The Marquetry flowers in purple and orange, along with green leaves are wheel carved to show detail. A third flower on the front is not Marquetry but is wheel carved with beautiful detail. Additional leaves on the backside were wheel carved into the background. Engraved on the front with oriental style signature "Galle". CORRECTION: The vase has a professionally restored crack in the bottom.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
