Galle vase is decorated with Marquetry flowers and stems extending from the bulbous foot all against a striated frosted background. The Crocus flowers are done in amber, yellow and purple on the front of the vase. Vase is signed with etched oriental style signature "Galle" and "Etude". There are two minor stress lines in the center amber flower and some minor stress lines in the purple stem, all giving the vase its Etude designation. Very good to excellent except for the stress lines mentioned before.
