An early example of an acoustic parlor guitar by George Bauer who began creating this folk, bluegrass and honky-tonk sounding beauty in the late 1800s, well into the 1950s. This guitar trimmed with a patterned abalone inlay is composed of rosewood, spruce and mahogany. The fretboard is adorned with three dotted pearl embellishments and has a single gold star on the tip of the headstock. The guitar shows significant wear- abrasions along the neck, scratches throughout the surface, a chip and cracks along the base. Overall, this is a cool early guitar and a great addition to a musician's collection. Includes a tattered case, which opens from the bottom.

Condition: (Fair).

Item Dimensions: Guitar, 37"T x 13"W.
